I really should start carrying a camera with at all times. These things would be much more exciting with accompanying photos.

On Saturday my new roommates were having a little party at the apartment, so I decided I would check it out and come say hi and hang out before moving in. Now, keep in mind they're both 24. I was able to drag Jim with me and after about 5 minutes, he was commenting that he was completely out of his element. No doubt we were the old guys there. In fact, one roommate confessed the "theme" of the evening was "In With The Old, Out With The Jew" (as the roommate I'm replacing is Jewish. Flattering. But alas, I made Jim stick it out and we joined in some drinking games. I will say that the female attendees were all quite young and beautiful. Balgavy is definitely invited to the next shindig! All in all it was a good time, cheap beers were consumed as well as some whiskey and vodka shots. Almost like being in college again.
Yesterday was foam finger day at Shea, and it being a Sunday game and all, I should have been there. However, we sold our tickets to play in the bocce tournament (that we didn't win), so no foam finger for us. When i finally got home Sunday night, guess what was perched up on my front gate. You guessed it, a Mets foam finger. Met's #1!
By the end of every baseball season, the topic inevitably comes up as to what my record whilst in attendance is. I never know. This year, I'm going to try and keep track.
I have fallen in love.... with I'm From Barcelona.
Well, I've decided I'm moving back to Williamsburg. Yes, I used to say I would never live there, but once I did, I really quite enjoyed it. Lots of places to eat, drink and hang out, plus I'm going to be right next to the park. Not too shabby. Hopefully some of my friends will come to visit from time to time.
I've always wondered what these little blog things were supposed to be about, after all. I mean, some people I know write about baseball, some TV shows, others just daily nonsense. I guess that's all well and good for them, but I haven't really figured out my niche yet. I once started a blog about my friend Andy, who was flakey, but that fizzled when Andy and I quit hanging out all the time.
